Solid ore of lead/antimony with pyrite crystals. The zinkenite is steely gray with a divergent, acicular crystals to 1 mm embedded in matrix.

Zinkenite with enargite

  

A lot of four rich solid masses of zinkenite with minor siderite.

Origin: Brobdignag mine, Anvil Mountain, Silverton, Silverton District, San Juan Co., Colorado, U.S.A.

Sample size: 30 x 28 x 17 mm (top), the largest measuring to 4.5 cm in size (bottom)

 

  

Zinkenite with stannite

Origin: Oruro, Cercado Province, Oruro Department, Bolivia

Sample size: 4 x 5 x 3.5 cm

 

  

The specimen above consists of a  matrix with the top lined by micro sparkling colourless quartz crystals. Scattered about these quartz crystals are metallic silver acicular crystals of zinkenite. There is a thicker metallic non-terminated stibnite crystal measuring 3 cm in length present as well.
