 The exposed vugs on this specimen are littered with brilliant magenta red coloured spheroidal crystal groups of variscite as well as single crystals of variscite. A view through the microscope reveals a host of other species including saleeite, strengite, and rockbridgeite.
Origin: Lavra Boa Vista, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Sample size: 6.8 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm (top/2nd row), 6.6 x 4.5 x 2.7 cm (3rd row), 6.3 x 3.6 x 2.6 cm (4th/5th row), 6.3 x 3.6 x 2.6 cm (6th/7th row), 5.5 x 3.8 x 2.5 cm (8th/9th row), 7.5 x 6 x 4.5 cm (10th/11th row), 5 x 4.4 x 3.5 cm (12th/bottom row)
