Specimen with slender scalenohedral (rare), yellowish to dark red colour-zoned crystals to 1.5 cm with a large 1.5 cm octahedral tennantite crystal covered by dark green duftite(?).

Dozens of tetrahedra to 1-2mm. These crystals are rimmed with perhaps a different mineral, possibly chalcocite. The cores are a brilliant silver, while the rims are a brassy chalcocite colour and the outer rim is a dull, pitted, black or dark grey. There are numerous minute clusters of quartz about the matrix.
