This specimen of acicular pectolite is host to numerous crystals of sugilite to 1 mm. There are several scattered crystals of quartz also which have encased both the pectolite and sugilite crystals.
  
Sugilite with white pectolite
  
This specimen of crystalline sugilite has a spray of cinnamon colored crystals of an unknown species. The spray is indentical to the unknown presented on page 218 of the Manganese Adventure authored by Bruce Cairncross, Nicholas Buekes and Jens Gutzmer. The spray is about 0.5 mm across.
