Sample size: 6 x 3 x 3 cm
Specimen with rounded crystal aggregates to 2 mm in grape-like bunches. This
specimen, like other strengites from various localities, exhibits an extreme
colour changing (alexandrite effect) property. The photo was taken under
with a mix of incandescent and halogen lights. Under fluorescent lighting
the color changes to a light lilac colour. In association with
beraunite and
kidwellite.
