Smithsonite

  
This specimen has a number of scalenohedral crystals of smithsonite. The largest is 2.1 cm in length. Other minerals present in minor amounts are mimetite and cerussite.

This specimen is smothered in crystals of cuprian smithsonite. On the back side of the specimen is found crystals of willemite and small acicular masses of rosasite.

Sample size: 6.2 x 4.1 x 2.5 cm (top/2nd row), 2.7 x 2.4 x 1.7 cm (3rd row), 4.1 x 2.7 x 1.7 cm (4th row), 4.2 x 2.8 x 2.3 cm (5th/6th row), 10.4 x 8.5 x 4.4 cm (7th row), 9.7 x 7.4 x 4.8 cm (8th/9th row), 9 x 6.2 x 5.5 cm (bottom)
