This specimen is a leaf of native silver. The base was sawn or ground but it is all silver.
Origin: Cobalt, Ontario, Canada, North America

Sample size: 6.5 x 4 x 0.4 cm
 
     
This specimen of calcite has a lot of silver in it! One side of the specimen was sawn which clearly shows the amount of silver in it. The weight of the specimen is 104 grams so it easily contains at least 2.5 ounces of silver.
