Origin: Pedras Verdes Mine, Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico
Sample size: 10.7 x 7.4 x 0.5 cm

The specimen is polished to show off its superb colour. Shattuckite is a relatively rare copper silicate, which is why you do not see specimens like this around. It is here associated with malachite and other copper minerals.
