Clear to light yellow prismatic crystals to 1 mm on
turquoise.
Origin: Kouroudiako, Faleme River, Senegal (type locality)
Sample size: 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm, a very rich specimen with light yellow crystals
to 0.75 mm (top), 4 x 2.5 x 1 cm (bottom)
Limonite matrix with a thin layer of
turquoise
upon which are deposited scores of 1-2 mm sized crystals of light yellow
coloured senegalite.
