Clear to light yellow prismatic crystals to 1 mm on turquoise.
Origin: Kouroudiako, Faleme River, Senegal (type locality)
Sample size: 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm, a very rich specimen with light yellow crystals to 0.75 mm (top), 4 x 2.5 x 1 cm (bottom)

Limonite matrix with a thin layer of turquoise upon which are deposited scores of 1-2 mm sized crystals of light yellow coloured senegalite.
Origin: Kouroudiako mine, Falémé River, Senegal, Africa (type locality)
Sample size: 5.2 x 4.4 x 2.3 cm (top/2nd row), 5.2 x 3.9 x 2.7 cm (3rd/4th row), 4.5 x 2.7 x 2.4 cm (5th/bottom row)
