The sellaite occurs throughout this specimen as white to pink fine radial fans flattened in matrix of quartz and fluorite, Ex. Feinglos specimen
White porcelain like mass with colourless fluorite
Origin: Clara mine, Wolfach, Schwarzwald, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Sample size: 10 x 7 x 5 cm (top), 5.5 x 3.5 x 2 cm

Crude crystals have been found up to 2 cm long. Sellaite occurs with blue beryl below the Slaughteryard Face at Mt Bischoff.
Origin: Mt Bischoff, Waratah, Tasmania, Australia
Sample size: crystal is 4 mm long
