Seligmannite

Seligmannite crystals to 2 mm with quartz
Origin: Rayra mine, near Oyon,, Lima dept., Peru
Sample size: 5 x 3 x 4 cm

The largest patch measures 8 x 5 mm and contains one large (3 mm) very well formed crystal face of almost black seligmannite behind which have grown several smaller, less well-formed crystals of seligmannite. In a small pocket just in front of this largest seligmannite patch is a single almost black bladed crystal of hutchinsonite hat is 1mm in length. The top face of the specimen has a few honey-coloured, highly lustrous crystals of goyazite, the largest of which measure 1 mm in size. One side of the specimen has a moderately rich coverage of vibrant red realgar crystals and, on the opposite side of the specimen is a small, thin coating of reddish orange powdery pararealgar.
Origin: Lengenbach, Binntal, Wallis, Switzerland
Sample size: 2 x 1 x 2 cm

Tiny, less tan 0.75 mm, grey to almost black prismatic needles on matrix of the already nice realgar specimen. The individual realgar crystals measure 1.5 cm and are associated with orpiment.
Origin: Paloma mine, Huachocolpa district, Huancavelica dept., Peru
Sample size: 7 x 5 x 3 cm
