This is a composite crystal of lustrous, deep orange coloured scheelite with a 1.1 cm tabular crystal of beryl attached to it.
Origin: Ping Wu, Sichuan Province, China
Sample size: 4.2 x 4 x 3.5 cm
 
  
This specimen of massive chalcopyrite and quartz has an exposed vug with crystals of calcite, chalcopyrite and deep steel bluish grey scheelite. The largest of the two scheelite crystals is 1.5 cm across - considered very large for this locality.
