The Arkenstone

  

 This specimen of crystalline quartz is covered with light violet fluorite and over a half dozen crystals of nearly colourless scheelite to 1.3 cm across.

Origin: Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Province, China

Sample size: 8 x 5 x 4 cm (top/2nd row), 3.5 x 3.7 x 1.8 cm (3rd/4th row), 6 x 4.3 x 3 cm (5th/6th row), 3 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm (7th/8th row), 2.5 x 1.6 x 1.6 cm (9th row), 2.5 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm (10th/11th row)
