Scheelite

  
  
This specimen is all grayish brown coloured scheelite. Most of it is massive with some areas of distinct crystals present. This was evidently attached to larger quartz crystals as there are are molds of quartz visible.
Origin: Zinnwald, Erzgerbirge, Saxony, Germany
Sample size: 5 x 3.6 x 2.1 cm
 
  
  
This specimen of crystalline muscovite hosts numerous crystals of albite and a solitary, transluscent, honey coloured crystal of scheelite. The scheelite crystal is 2.5 cm across.
Origin: Xie Bao Diang Mine, Ping Wu, Sichuan Province, China
