Light to honey yellow colored sahlinite as anhedral crystal grains in magnesioferrite (?) matrix
  
Faint yellow crytalline grains in a 3 x 3 mm area associatyed with black magnesioferrite. Ex. Grenier Collection
Origin: Långban mine, Bergslagen ore distr., Filipstad, , Värmland, Sweden (type locality)
Sample size: 5 x 3 x 3 cm (top), 5 x 2.5 x 3.5 cm (2nd row), 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm (3rd row), 5 x 3 x 2 cm (bottom)

This specimen has bright yellow plates of sahlinite in hausmannite bearing dolomite. The mineralized area is 1.2 cm across. Sahlinite is considered to be rare from Långban.
