Quenselite

  
  
There are literally hundreds of crystals of lustrous quenselite to 2+ mm across scattered about the display face of this specimen together with barite on calcite. Quenselite was found only in the Amerika workings at the 185 meter level.
  
 
  
 
  
 
  
 
  
 
  
 
  
These specimens consists primarily of hausmannite included calcite with a surface layer of colourless barite as 1 mm crystals and jet black, lustrous crystals of quenselite to about 1 mm also.

Origin: Långban, Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden (type locality)
