The Arkenstone

This is a doubly terminated crystal of amethyst heavily covered with small crystals of apophyllite. The crystal was evidently damaged in the pocket and then rehealed with subsequent quartz mineralization. Small faces are seen at the bottom. Internally, there are inclusions of what is likely a clay mineral

This is a fully terminated crystal of amethyst shrouded with lustrous, tabular crystals of apophyllite to 1.7 cm across.
