Pyromorphite

This is a rare specimen from the Dao Ping mine with predominantly calcite as the matrix instead of the typical limonite gossan. The white calcite provides a nice contrast to the rich chartreuse coloured crystals of pyromorphite which reach up to 0.4 cm in length.
Origin: Dao Ping Lead-Zinc Mine, Guangxi Province, China
Sample size: 12.7 x 6.3 x 3.7 cm
