An extraordinarily rich specimen of pyrobelonite from Långban! This specimen is predominantly calcite but it is also very rich in sharply crystallized native lead and it has numerous zones of pyrobelonite crystallization. The pyrobelonite is found as prismatic crystals with the largest being about 2 mm in length and it is doubly terminated. The lead on this specimen is predominantly octahedral with cubic face modifications. In general the crystals have a skeletal habit. Not only is pyrobelonite a rare mineral with only a few known localities in the world it is the only mineral found at Långban that contains the element vanadium.

This small specimen is very rich in pyrobelonite crystals with the largest being about 1 mm in length.
