"Maskelynite", According to mindat.org, Maskelynite is variety of albite-anorthite series and a naturally occurring glass created by the vitrification of plagioclase caused by meteorite impact.
The old tag gives a reference to Am. Min. 1967, and Hey's index gives a cross ref to Dana's 6th Ed. page 335.
