The Arkenstone

 

  
Fine, light green, acicular crystals to less than 0.2 mm occupying an area of about 1 mm on malachite. This area can be seen on the dark green malachite in the right hand photo.
Origin: Laurel Hill, Hudson Co., New Jersey, United States (type locality)
