Origin: Gap Garonne Mine, Le Pradet, Var, France
Sample size: 1 mm cluster of needle-like crystals of red perroudite in quartz matrix

Red, fibrous crystal bunches in tiny, less than 0.75 mm vugs in spongy chrysocolla matrix.
  
Fine deep red fine hair-like crystals in tufts to about 0.5 mm.
Origin: Capitana mine, Ladrillos district, Copiapo, Atacama, Chile
Sample size: 4 x 3 x 2 cm (top/2nd row), miniature (3rd/4th row), 2.5 x 2 x 1 cm (bottom)
 
  
  
Bright red "veinlets" composed of acicular crystals to maybe 0.2 mm. The "veinlets" are about 0.75 mm wide and may in fact be alteration rims around perhaps danielsite.
