Moctezumite crystals as thick blades lying flat on matrix to 0.75 mm. Associated are yellow micro crystals to 0.2 mm of schmitterite and minor emmonsite.

Free standing, light orange, opaque, bladed and well-formed micro crystals showing good terminations of moctezumite to 0.5 mm as single crystals and in one case several crystals (as in photo) developed along a 4 mm stretch. On right photo are spotty yellow schmitterite crystals showing a sericitic like luster. Also, near the schmitterite are light green patches of emmonsite.

Orange platy crystals to 0.75 mm with yellow micro crystals of schmitterite and green emmonsite.
Origin: Bambolla mine, Moctezuma, Sonora, Mexico
