Microcline

  
Fleshy pink, very well formed microcline crystals from 2 mm to 1.5 cm. There is also minor pale green albite and smoky quartz.
  
Light creamy pink, penetration twinned microcline crystal 4 x 2 x 2.5 cm in size. Associated with very pale green albite and smoky quartz.
  
  
Opaque fleshy pink, well formed microcline crystals from 0.5 - 1 cm associated with light gray smoky quartz crystals to 1 cm. There is also some minor muscovite and pale green albite.
Origin: Papachacra, Belen Dept., Catamarca, Argentina
Sample size: 5.5 x 5 x 1.5 cm (top/2nd row), 6 x 3 x 3 cm (3rd/4th row), 4.5 x 5 x 2 cm (5th/bottom row)

Variety amazonite with smoky quartz on albite. As is typical with the vast majority of these this one is repaired through the center of the albite. The amazonite and quartz are naturally attached without reinforments.
Origin: Two Point Mine, Teller County, Colorado, Southwest U.S.A.
