Menezesite

  

Specimen with very nice crystals to about 0.3 mm, one set in combination as seen in photo another set as distinct crystals. Associated with phlogopite, clinohumite, pyrite and dolomite.

Origin: Jacupiranga Mine, Cajati, Sao Paulo, Southeast Region, Brazil (type locality)

Sample size: 1.7 x 1 x 1 cm (top), 5 x 4 x 5 mm (2nd row), 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm (3rd row), 2.5 x 1 x 1 cm (4th/bottom row)

Menezesite with ancylite-(Ce) on dolomite

  

Menezesite with ancylite-(Ce) on dolomite. Also present are clinohumite, phlogopite, magnetite and strontianite

  

Menezesite on phlogopite

  

This specimen has numerous crystals of menezesite to 1.5 mm across. Also present are crystals of ancylite-(Ce), tochilinite, clinohumite, dolomite and phlogopite.
