Origin: Arøy, Langesundsfjorden, Norway (type locality)

Sample size: 3.6 X 5.3 cm specimen. Honey yellow, translucent sample of meliphanite. Largest crystal is about 2.6 cm long (top), 7.2 x 4.8 x 2.9 cm (bottom)

Large crystals to 1.6 cm in pegmatite matrix
