Maricite

  
Long prismatic crystals to 1.5 cm embedded in matrix
  
Phosphate nodule composed of long, bladed or thin tabular crude crystals to 3.5 cm and 1 mm thin in a sub-parallel aggregate with a bluish to grey or green hue. Interesting to note that this may also contain satterlyite and/or wolfeite as maricite is not always monomineralic.
Origin: Locality 16, Area C. Big Fish River, Yukon Territory, Canada (type locality)
Sample size: 5 x 2 x 2 cm (top), 5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm (bottom)
