Malachite on copper

This specimen is a pseudomorph of malachite and cuprite after copper with some minor copper still left in the interior. The surface of the specimen has a thin coat of micro calcite crystals. This specimen was cemented to a calcite base by Bill Swanepoel who was a miner at the mine.
