Laurelite

  
Sprays to 9 mm of laurelite in a vug with quartz in altered galena with fluorite. Clear crystals along the edge of the vug may be grandreefite.

This specimen has an area of 3.5 x 3 cm totally covered with white acicular sprays of laurelite crystals to 2 mm. Matrix is cerussite and galena.
Origin: Grand Reef mine, Aravaipa mining district, Graham Co., Arizona, USA (type locality)
