Polished section in epoxy, krutaite associated with clausthalite (confirmed by microprobe analysis) (left and middle), associated with cuprian penroseite and clausthalite (right)

Octahedral crystals of krutaite to about 0.5 mm, very nice and fairly well-defined in a few locations associated with good coverage of kerstenite, olsacherite (sparse coverage and very micro) and minor chalcomenite (photo shows a good crystal).

Specimen with a face covered by good, grey, octahedral crystals to 0.75mm. Occurs with minor, bluish chalcomenite.
Origin: Mina El Dragon, Potosi, Bolivia
Sample size: 1.4 cm square (top left), plate of mineral is 1.5 x 2 cm (top middle),  section of mineral is 12 x 6 mm (top right), 4.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm (2nd row), 2.5 x 1 x 1 cm (bottom)
