Kristiansenite

  
Two very nice, clear, intergrown crystals to 1 mm
  
A single 1 mm, colorless crystal of kristiansenite with a black crystal of scandian ixiolite to 1 mm. Also associated is a micro crystal of scandiobabingtonite.
  
Two crystal grains, one showing good faces, to about 0.75 mm in a capsule. There are only 12 minerals known to contain scandium, kristiansenite is one of them.
Origin: Heftetjern pegmatite, Tørdal, Drangedal, Telemark, Norway (type locality)
