This specimen of albite, muscovite and cookeite has several crystals of hydroxylherderite to 2 cm in length.
Origin: Divino das Laranjeiras, Linopolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Sample size: 7.3 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm (top/2nd/3rd row), 7.3 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm (4th/bottom row)
 
  
 
  
Hydroxylherderite twins
  
This specimen consists of twinned and fully terminated crystals hydroxylherdite. The crystals share a termination and have a thin alteration rind. Despite the alteration the crystals have bright luster.
  
Origin: Corrego Frio Mine, Linopolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Sample size: 4.1 x 2.7 x 2.3 cm (top/2nd row), 4.5 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm (3rd/4th row), 3.6 x 2 x 1.7 cm (5th row), 4.5 x 3.4 x 2 cm (bottom)
