Huréaulite

Huréaulite associated with rockbridgeite on vuggy triphylite matrix

Origin: Big Chief mine, Pennington Co., South Dakota, USA

Sample size: top 5 x 4 x 3 cm, crystals to 3mm, bottom 4 x 3 x 3 cm

Huréaulite associated with well formed crystals of jahnsite and acicular rockbridgeite

Intensely vuggy specimen with a lot going on within. There are hundreds of purple leucophoshite crystals to 2 mm on around pink hureaulite crystals to 4 mm, nut brown jahnsite crystals to 1 mm and minor rockbridgeite, robertsite and messelite on the backside. Ex. Grenier collection

Light pink hureaulite crystals to 4 mm in large vuggy areas to 4 cm across associated with purple leucophosphite crystals to 1 mm. Ex. Groben collection, ex. Korpi collection

Origin: Tip Top mine, Custer Co., South Dakota, USA

Sample size: 3-4 mm crystals (top), 6 x 4 x 3 cm (2nd row), 13 x 8 x 4 cm (bottom)

Large, salmon pink hureaulite crystals to 1.5 cm - very nicely formed on dark brown leucophosphite and micro platelets of bermanite.

Salmon pink hureaulite crystals to 8 mm on dark brown leucophosphite to 1 mm, jahnsite crystals to 1 mm and micro platelets of deep red bermanite.
