This specimen of chloritically altered basalt hosts numerous lustrous crystals of satiny white heulandite. The largest crystals are 1.4 cm in length.
Origin: Cascadia, Linn County, Oregon, U.S.A.
Sample size: 12.5 x 7.2 x 6.1 cm
 
  
Heulandite on mordenite
Origin: Rats Nest Claim, Custer Co., Idaho, U.S.A.
Sample size: 11.4 x 7.5 x 6 cm
 
  
This specimen consists of adjoined crystals of heulandite included with chlorite (?). The inlcusions are reposnsible for the avacado green colour. The largest crystal is 2.7 cm across.
