Hainite

  
Yellow prismatic micro crystals to 3 mm in association with golden reddish brown, fibrous tuperssuatsiaite. The hainite crystals are incomplete (fractured). Several other minerals also including apophyllite, microcline, and aegerine.
  
  
  
Long prismatic tan to yellow, glassy crystals to 1 cm in phonolite matrix around a large vug 4 x 2 cm filled with tuperssuatsiaite as silky, fibrous cinnamon red crystals to 4 mm along with fluorapophyllite and pectolite. Collected by Paulo Anselno Matioli in 1993.
Origin: Bortolan quarry, Pocos de Caldes, Alkaline Massif, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Sample size: 4.5 x 3 x 2 cm (top), 7.5 x 6 x 5 cm (2nd/3rd/bottom row)
