This gold fish-hook, made from Columbian gold, was said in the old collection
catalogue for Lawrence University to have passed from the Chibcha Indians
circa 1540, to Jack Baragwanath/Leech, and hence to Lawrence. Barlow obtained
it directly from Lawrence University in June of 1979.
