This specimen of crystalline quartz has been etched to reveal the hidden lustrous crystal of fluorite. The crystal is actually two and is 5.5 cm across with dodecahedral faces modified by cubic faces.
Origin: De'an Fluorite Mine, De'an, Jiangxi, China, Asia
