Dakota Matrix Minerals

This specimen is among the specimens secured by Flink in 1918 with numerous sharply terminated crystals of fluorapophyllite to 4 mm in length. The crystals are set in recesses among dark green diopside crystals. Also present is a flat 3 cm crystal of hematite. Lastly, are abundant etched crystals of light violet coloured fluorite covering a 5 x3 cm surface of the specimen.
