Ferrierite

  
Tiny white silky acicular crystals of ferrierite are rich throughout the basalt matrix. In association are colourless flattened rhombohedral crystals of calcite to 2.4 cm in size.
Origin: Basalt quarry, Weitendorf, Wildon, Graz, Styria, Austria
Sample size: 5.6 x 2.5 x 3.5 cm
