Origin: Foote mine, Cleveland Co., North Carolina, USA

Sample size: 1.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm (top), spherical crystal aggregate to 1 mm (bottom)

 

  

  

Fairfieldite with jahnsite (middle right, bottom) and rockbridgeite (middle left) on predominantly triphylite matrix.

White platy crystals of fairfieldite to 8 mm with brownish to clear whitlockite rhombs
