Clear and colourless, glassy, micro crystals in what looks like slender prisms of uneven lengths with striations in parallel groups grown intimately with jarosite. There are at least three good groups of fairbankite. The groups are about 0.75 mm. Within the matrix are tiny groups of probably rodalquilarite (green - dull aggregates to foil like green crystals). According to the book (Min. of AZ by Anthony et al) this was a one time find all from a fist size rock.
Origin: Grand Central mine, Tombstone, Cochise Co., Arizona, United States (type locality)
Ex. Kidwell collection
Sample size: 2 x 1.5 x 1 cm
