Elbaite

  
     
This terminated crystal of smoky quartz is loaded with emerald green colored crystals of tourmaline variety elbaite. The largest is a 4.6 cm doubly terminated pencil crystal. The quartz  crystal is also fully, in fact, doubly terminated.
Origin: Kamdesh, Kunnar Province, Afghanistan
