Cuprosklodowskite

  
This specimen has an exposed vug lined with closely packed crystals of cuprosklodowskite to about 1 cm in length. Most of the crystals are coated with microscopic crystals of uranophane.
  
  
This specimen has exposed vugs literally filled with needle-like crystals of cuprosklodowskite. There is some minor uranophane associated also.
  
 
  
Origin: Musonoi Extension, Katanga, Dem. Rep. of the Congo
Sample size: 6 x 4.6 x 4.5 cm (top/2nd row), 4.2 x 3.8 x 2.2 cm (3rd/4th row), 7.5 x 5.2 x 4 cm (5th/6th row), 5.3 x 5 x 3.2 cm (bottom)
