Pale yellow coffin shaped micro crystals to 1 mm covering vug in rhyolite

Origin: Succon Creek, near Adrian, Molheur Co., Oregon, U.S.A.

Sample size: 5 x 4.5 x 5 cm

 

  

Glassy bluish crystal aggregates to 6mm of clinoptilolite-Ca in an area 24 x 17 mm vug associated with white, earthy mordenite.

  

Light vitreous blue crystal aggregates composed of monoclinic, tabular plates in parallel growths to 1 mm. There are three 4-5 mm aggregates in a white pocket of mordenite - Na.
