Chrysocolla with quartz

Origin: Miami Mine, Globe-Miami, Arizona, U.S.A.

Sample size: 10.4 x 6.0 x 5.2 cm

 

  

Specimen of chrysocolla and little balls of malachite that have been covered with a druse of sparkly quartz. The malachite balls are pseudomorphed to chrysocolla, but one is still green - you can distinguish it clearly from the pseudomorphed ones.
