Area 6 mm
Origin: Croft Gothal mine, St Hilary, Cornwall, England, UK
Owner: Steve Rust

Mimetite crystals to 0.8mm coated by carminite, associated with white liskeardite. The micro specimen is very unusual in as much as the liskeardite predates the carminite. To Steve's knowledge minerals that postdate liskeardite from this mine are extremely rare (left), colourless to tinted yellow crystal masses of hidalgoite on a network of carminite. Area 1cm (right)
Rounded crystalline masses of carmimite on beudantite
Carminite pseudomorphs to 1 mm after bayldonite on yellow segnitite
