Sample size: 3 x 2.2 cm specimen of
calcite
with included grains of yellowish-orange berzeliite (top), 4.5 x 2 cm specimen
with a 3 mm grain (2nd row), 4 x 2.3 cm specimen grains of berzeliite to
4 mm across (3rd row), 1.4 x 0.6 cm specimen with a rich zone of berzeliite
(bottom)
This specimen has a very rich zone of bright canary yellow berzeliite. The
matrix for the specimen consists of
calcite
with
hausmannite.
Swedenborgite was found while lamping (SW-UV) this specimen as 2-3 mm
crystals frozen in the matrix. One crystal was seen to have a hexagonal
outline helping to confirm it as
swedenborgite.
This specimen has a couple of rich zones of bright canary yellow berzeliite.
The matrix for the specimen consists of
calcite
with
hausmannite. Ex.
