Beryl

This specimen consists of several connected, tabular crystals of beryl variety goshenite with matrix of albite. The crystals are a very faint blue and are technically aquamarine but the color is so faint that I think goshenite is a better varietal name to use with it. The largest is 4.3 cm across.
Origin: Ping Wu, Sichuan Province, China
Sample size: 5.8 x 4.9 x 4.1 cm

Origin: Darrah Pech, Kunar, Afghanistan, Asia
Sample size: 5.8 x 4 x 3.7 cm
