Triphylite matrix with probably one of the better bermanite specimens found at
this historic mine. The bermanite occurs as micro, less tan 0.1 mm, deep red
crystals encompassing a large 4 x 2 cm area. Associated with the bermanite is
green
leucophosphite, pink
hureaulite,
rockbridgeite and
jahnsite.
The bermanite stands out well as fine extremely micro crystals filling a vug
with 2 mm
hureaulite crystals. Bermanite is usually an obscure coating, this
bermanite is fairly nice. There is also
segelerite as yellow micro crystals to less than 0.5mm.
Leucophosphite occurs as glassy purple micro crystals.
Robertsite and
rockbridgeite is also present.
