Arakiite

This specimen consists of three very small chips off of the type specimen of arakiite. It was discovered by Dr. Mark Feinglos on a specimen he had obtained from the Natural History Museum in London in 1985. Arakiite is very similar in appearance to dixenite and hematolite. Hence, the original label with the specimen has identified this as dixenite. The majority of the specimen is hematite with very small amounts of arakiite attached to it.
